Jackson Browne to celebrate Woody Guthrie’s 100th birthday on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Jackson Browne will appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on October 11 to celebrate the 100th birthday of Woody Guthrie, according to the Dallas Morning News. He will perform “You Know the Night” from last year’s Notes of Hope, although probably not the full 14-minute version. The song was composed by Jackson Browne and Rob Wasserman using about 30 pages of notebook entries that were written by Woody Guthrie in 1943. A 4-minute radio-friendly version was released as a single, so it will probably be that.

Jackson Browne will follow the appearance with several concerns in Texas.
