Browne vs. McCain update: no oral argument on pending motions

Ben Sheffner’s Copyrights & Campaigns blog reports that Federal District Judge R. Gary Klausner has decided that the attorneys need not make the drive over to the court for the previously scheduled February 2, 2009, hearing to determine whether to dismiss the “Running On Empty” case. Instead the judge will issue his decision once he reviews the previously submitted motions.

Not being a lawyer, I’m not sure if that’s a good sign or not (or if I’m even interpreting the order correctly). Seems like we’ll know more early next week. I think.
