Joni Mitchell on Obama’s playlist from Canada?

CBC Radio is compiling a playlist of 49 songs from Canadian musicians that will be send to the soon-to-be-president Barack Obama. Canadians can vote for the songs that best represent their country. Voting ends tomorrow, January 16, at 5:00 PM ET.

Joni Mitchell appears twice on the list of the Top 100 Nominations, once for “Both Sides Now” and once for “A Case Of You”. Also on the list is Gordon Lightfoot (for “Canadian Railroad Trilogy” and “Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald”), Leonard Cohen (“Democracy” and “Suzanne”) and Neil Young (“Helpless” and “Rockin’ In The Free World”).
