James Taylor visits brother Liv at Berklee

The Berklee College of Music has posted a partial transcript of James Taylor’s visit to the school on December 3, 2007. Why it took over a year to get posted, I have no idea. Although LivTaylor.com has a picture of the two at Berklee on December 3, 2008, so I suspect the Berklee article’s date is a typo.

But it’s still a good glimpse of the 2-hour clinic moderated by Livingston Taylor for his Stage Performance class. James performed the first song he ever wrote, the unreleased “Roll River Roll”.

  1. Erik says:

Is he ever going to release “roll river roll”? I like that song …

  2. Corey Blake says:

    Me too, Erik!

I assume it will eventually end up on the inevitable box set. It must’ve been recorded at some point along the way.
