Billboard’s Top 10: Time the Conqueror, Songs of Joy & Peace has posted its critics’ top 10 lists for 2008.

Paul Sexton puts Jackson Browne’s newest album Time the Conqueror at #3 on his list. He said Jackson was “as erudite as ever, but never at the expense of a good tune”.

Gordon Ely praised Yo-Yo Ma’s Songs of Joy & Peace, placing it on #4 on his list: “Dave Brubeck, James Taylor, Alison Krauss and Diana Krall are just a few of the ever-eclectic, always extraordinary Ma’s “friends,” all 22 of whom elevate this into a Christmas album for the ages. Joy to the world, indeed.”
