The Columbia Tribune has an article on Carole King’s recent stop in Columbia, Missouri.
“The path to conversation,” she told the crowd, “is listening.”
King talked about life in Idaho, where she has many Republican neighbors. She asked volunteers to listen to the concerns of Republicans and to clarify any misconceptions about the Illinois senator.
“You can stay a Republican and support Barrack Obama,” she went on to say. “It’s OK. In fact, it’s the most courageous thing you can do.”
