Carole King canvassed for JFK in 1960

The Globe Gazette has an article on Carole King speaking in support of Senator Barack Obama in Mason City, Iowa.

In an interview after her talk, King said she has always been interested in politics and canvassed for John F. Kennedy in 1960.

“Everyone should be interested in politics,” she said. “It affects every fiber our our lives. People should certainly realize that today.”
