Seattle PI likes Jackson Browne & his singers

The Seattle Post Intelligencer reviewed last night’s Jackson Browne concert, paying particular attention to his two background vocalists.

The second half of Jackson Browne’s concert Monday night at McCaw Hall was much better than the first. It wasn’t just the songs that made it the stronger half, it was the two singers standing behind him, Alethea Mills and Chavonne Morris, who up until that point had mostly added soulful filigrees to his poetry, elevating phrases and twisting them toward heaven.
