Carole King’s Greenwood stop

93.1 WIBC FM has a brief article recapping Carole King’s appearance in Greenwood, Indiana, yesterday.

Singer/songwriter Carole King made an appearance in Greenwood Tuesday in support of Barack Obama.

The critically-acclaimed writer says she knows her name will get people to notice, but she doesn’t want people to vote for Obama just because she is. King says people need to listen to the candidates and make their choice based on their own feelings.

Johnson County Democrat Chairperson Kathy Stolz says King’s appearance will energize the usually Republican-leaning county. She says county Democrats are energized and ready for November.
