Boston Globe likes Time The Conqueror

The Boston Globe has posted a brief review of Jackson Browne’s Time The Conqueror, on-sale tomorrow.

Even the title and cover of Jackson Browne’s new CD reflect the long, hard road taken by the singer-songwriter who so captured the zeitgeist of the late 1970s and early ’80s. In his first studio album since 2002, Browne is both reflective and furious – pensive about gender differences (“Live Nude Cabaret”) and angry about Iraq (“The Drums of War”). Ever the activist, Browne has a lawsuit pending against Republican presidential candidate John McCain for allegedly using Brown’s “Running on Empty” without permission.
